Viu Manent

Gran Reserva – Carmenere

February 2016

Vineyards
La Capilla, on the outskirts of Peralillo in the Colchagua Valley. The Carménère blocks are 31 years old, on average.

Tasting Notes
Deep red color with tints of violet, with authentic spicy character featuring blue fruits and subtle notes of toasted coffee. In palate is a balanced wine with rich texture and reactive tannins, giving the way to an enjoyable and long finish.

Food Pairing
Ideal for chicken in a mustard sauce, or rabbit, either marinated or grilled. Also great with dishes spiced with curry and Latin American dishes with corn. Service temperature of 16–18ºC. Cellar up to 6 years.
