Obtained from selected sectors of our vineyards to privilege fine sweet, ripe varietal aromas.

The wines are big-bodied and have great volume and length on the palate, with soft and elegant tannins. The wines in this category are carefully oak-aged to produce a perfect balance between fruit and oak.

Elegant and traditional style are the main characteristics in this range of fine wines.

Vineyard
The grapes come from different vineyards in the Colchagua Valley, principally our San Carlos estate, located near Cunaco, in the Colchagua Valley. The vines average 21 years in age.

Tasting Notes
With a deep-purple color. The nose presents mostly red and blue fruit aromas, such as blue berry and cherry, and a subtle note of nougat. The palate shows good structure, soft tannins that are in balanced with nice acidity. The finish is long and persistent, with notes of fresh fruit complimented by a subtle toasted aftertaste.

Food pairing
Ideal for grilled meats, sweatbreads, sausages, or longaniza with chickpeas. Also great with baked young goat. Service temperature of 16–18ºC. Cellar for up to 6 years and decant before serving.

 

Vineyard
The grapes for this wine primarily come from the San Carlos Vineyard located near Cunaco in the Colchagua Valley. The Cabernet Sauvignon blocks were planted more than 100 years ago.

Tasting Notes
Deep red in color. On the nose, the aromas are principally of red fruit, cassis, ripe figs, with subtle confit notes and some spices like white pepper. On the palate there’s good structure, with sweet tannins balanced by good acidity. The finish is pleasant and delicate with a fruity aftertaste.

Food pairing
Pairs with pot roast, polenta with stewed mushrooms, or cuts of beef on the grill. Service temperature of 17–18ºC. Cellar up to 6 years, and allow to breath before serving.

 

Vineyards
La Capilla, on the outskirts of Peralillo in the Colchagua Valley. The Carménère blocks are 31 years old, on average.

Tasting Notes
Deep red color with tints of violet, with authentic spicy character featuring blue fruits and subtle notes of toasted coffee. In palate is a balanced wine with rich texture and reactive tannins, giving the way to an enjoyable and long finish.

Food Pairing
Ideal for chicken in a mustard sauce, or rabbit, either marinated or grilled. Also great with dishes spiced with curry and Latin American dishes with corn. Service temperature of 16–18ºC. Cellar up to 6 years.

 

Vineyard
The grapes for this wine come from a vineyard in the Litueche sector near the coastal border of the northern extreme of the Colchagua Valley, 18 kilometers from the Pacific Ocean. The proximity of the sea provides a strong maritime influence that enables the grapes to ripen slowly and reach great quality potential.

Tasting Notes
Golden yellow color. On the nose, the wine is fresh and complex, with aromas of white fruit such as pears, stone fruits, flowed by subtle citrus notes at the end. The palate is expressive, with acidity that lends good balance to the structure, producing a harmonious and pleasing finish.

Food pairing
An excellent alternative to serve with desserts made with fruit and cream, blue cheeses and foie. Service temperature of 8–10ºC.

 

Red Blend is an enchanting and expressive wine that seduces with its aromas of black fruit like blackberry and plum with graphite, and floral notes like violets.
This blend has big personality and structure thanks to the base of Cabernet Sauvignon Malbec, and Carmenere, together with another 5 varieties that add complexity both on the nose and on the palate.

Vineyard:
The grapes are principally from our San Carlos estate, located near Cunaco, while a small portion comes from our El Olivar estate near Peralillo. Both vineyards are found within the greater Colchagua Valley.

Variety:
Cabernet Sauvignon 68%, Malbec 11%, Carmenere 7%, Syrah 4%, Petit Verdot 4%, Mourvedre 3%, Carignan 2%, Cabernet Franc 1%.

Tasting Notes:
With a deep red color, the wine’s nose shows complexity and great aromatic intensity, highlighting notes of red fruit such as cherry and fresh plum, with subtle nutty notes that mix elegantly with hints of black pepper. The palate has nice texture and balance, with firm, silky tannins that add concentration and structure to the wine. The wine’s finish shows great depth and length, with smoky notes in the aftertaste.
