Rayuela – Chardonnay – Gran Reserva
May 2016Tasting Notes
Light greenish-yellow in color. The nose is complex with aromas of green apple, citrus, and white flowers with a mineral note. The palate presents very good volume with excellent acidity and freshness as well as a subtle saline note that lends complexity and character of place.
Vineyard
The grapes for this wine come from a vineyard in the Litueche sector in the extreme north of the Colchagua Valley, 18 kilometers from the Pacific Ocean. Its proximity to the sea lends a strong maritime influence that leads to long, slow ripening period that increases its great potential for quality.
