Viu Manent among the Best Visitors Center by Wine Tourism Awards 2014 (Drinks International, UK).

Viu Manent has been awarded Highly Commended for the Best Visitor Centre and Best Food & Wine Matching Experience in the Wine Tourism Awards 2014, organized by Drinks International magazine, UK. Viu Manent was the only Chilean winery to be highlight among the best exponents of worldwide wine tourism.

Best Visitor Centre (Highly Commended) – Judges comments included:

Great attractions available; winemaker for a day, harvest, tasting, guided tours on horseback, pony kids tours and an education course. Over 25 thousand visitors a year from Chile and internationally. Good impact on local community, good use of promotion and variety of activities, lovely photos. The judges said they want to come and visit.

Best Food & Wine Matching Experience (Highly Commended) – Judges comments included:

Good use of food and wine learning about gastronomy and cooking class with wines. They liked the idea of horse riding and food and wine tour. The entry needed to be a little more tailored to the specific category and more information would have helped.
